We are Hiring!  Position: Executive Director (NEBA)

North Edmonton Business Association (NEBA) is looking to fill the position of Executive Director, who, will primarily be responsible to authorize and organize events, membership, financials, staffing and newsletter content. This position will advise elected representatives on NEBA financial status and action plans for events. This role will co-ordinate the work monthly events and special events with the Board. The Executive Director must possess an undergraduate degree and years of progressive experience in a management role, preferably in non-profit sector.

Duties:

  • Retain and Attract memberships
  • Sponsorships for the association and events
  • Revenue Source – Advertising Platforms for website, newsletter, events, etc.
  • Events: Breakfast Mixer, After work business mixer, Luncheons, Business Introductory Event
  • Event marketing and promotion, selling tradeshow tables to cover costs of events, membership etc
  • Manage NEBA’s Website, social media accounts
  • Semi-annual meetings / community dialogue meetings
  • Attending open house with elected officials, keeping up to date on development in north Edmonton, meeting business owners and residents at these events
  • Keeping up to date and staying informed with developments in north Edmonton (north east and castle news community newspaper, follow up on news on twitter, etc)
