With the release of the provincial budget, we are looking forward to details from Federal Budget to be released next Wednesday March 22nd, 2017.

Working in an industry where we are constantly paying attention to information locally, provincially and nationally, it's important to keep up to date as it impacts many of our investment, business and operational decisions.   Special thanks to Minister Deron Bilous for a very informative session on support programs available for small and medium sized businesses last Friday at Royal Canadian Legion.   Thanks to the NEBA Team (Directors & Members: Lan Chan-Marples, Moe Sandouga and Susan Janzen) and our newest employee, Tori Barthel, for helping out at the luncheon.   Grateful to Sam Luu with S&L Event Photography for the photo album of the luncheon event: NEBA Luncheon with Guest Speaker Hon. Deron Bilous, Minister of Economic Development & Trade

Thank you Susan Janzen for your feedback on the event:

It's tax season for me and so I'm keeping this newsletter light.  Safe driving on the roads and please take care.

Thursday May 18 - NEBA Business Mixer & Networking Event - Theme: Community Leagues Meet & Greet.   Helping to bridge the gap between communities and businesses!  Hosting an event to bring together businesses, entrepreneurs, individuals and community in one event to learn more about each other - find out what some of the Community Leagues have to offer (programs, venue for events, and more) and how can business participate in these opportunities to reach your consumer base.   It was amazing to hear how one league was looking for $480 to get all their skates sharpened.  What a great opportunity for a business to sponsor this request and reach your target consumer at the same time - a win win situation.  Location: Source Office Furnishings, 14835 137 Ave.   Time: 5 PM - 7:30 PM.  For more details and to sponsor this event, please contact us at
