North Edmonton - MLAs (Provincial)

As the beginning of the Fall Session of the Legislative Assembly is set to commence on October 30th, I would like to take this opportunity to reflect on a very busy summer and beginning of the fall season.  My staff and I have continued to be in the riding meeting with and speaking to constituents and business owners about issues that matter to them.  As we continue into the winter months, we will still be door knocking and visiting our businesses to hear about issues that are important to you.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone who was elected in the October 16th municipal election.  I sincerely look forward to working with you!  Thank you also to those who put their name forward in the municipal election.

In the month of November, my constituency office, along with 15 other constituency offices in the province and CDI College North Campus will be partnering with UFCW Local 401 to collect new and gently used women’s and children’s shoes for the Maskwacis-Ermineskin Women’s Shelter and the Camrose Women’s Shelter.  If you have shoes that you would like to donate, please feel free to drop them off at my constituency office during our office hours, Monday through Friday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. or at the CDI College North Campus located at #104, 9450-137 Ave NW.

Once again, I would like to invite all of you to participate in the 2nd Annual “A Taste of Decore”.  The event will take place on April 28, 2018 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Northgate Lions Seniors Recreation Centre, located at 7524-139 Ave NW.

We would invite your organization/business to participate in one of two ways:

1)      We are looking for organizations/groups to perform at the event.  If your organization has a group that would like to perform, please let us know.

2)      We will have tables provided free of charge where you can showcase your organization/business.

Last year we had well over 500 people attend the event and this year we have added more space for more participants.  If you would like to register for the event, or require further information, please contact my Constituency Manager Maria-Elizabeth Vicente at Edmonton.Decore@assembly.ab.ca

Finally, I would like to extend an invitation for you to attend the Edmonton-Decore Constituency Office Open House on Sunday January 28th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.  The Constituency Office is located in Dickinsfield Mall at #5, 9228-144 Ave NW.  Come and spend an afternoon with my staff and I who would be happy to answer questions you may have pertaining to your business/organization.
