What's on your priority list during this holiday season? There's less than two weeks to go before the start of the New Year. So much to do, so much to enjoy with family, friends, celebrating this year's journey and planning ahead for 2020!
We hope you enjoy these wonderful times and moments. Best wishes from all of us at North Edmonton Business Association. (NEBA). It has been a pleasure to stay connected with you through NEBA's events: Breakfast Mixers, Luncheons, After-work mixers and through newsletter communications. We've had new members from different industry join many of our renewing members - making connections, business opportunities, referrals and introductions!
We hope you continued success as you celebrate the season at upcoming events or meetings. Season's Greetings and all the best in the new year 2020!

Board of Directors:
Since September 2014, we have the privilege and honor of working with Carrie Thuesen. She serves on the Board of Directors with Dickensfield Amity House. NEBA's success with delivering service and events would not have been possible without Carrie's involvement, guidance and feedback on many of the ideas we were contemplating and delivered on.
As such, we like to help raise awareness of what they are doing to fundraise for Amity House. If you like to make a donation to help, please click on this link: https://www.gofundme.com/f/amity-house-needs-your-help?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&fbclid=IwAR0XI-3C3qsRKIk96OhApa-EF4r9IEet0mPEklFDoWWoZheiofHxthNTljg
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit DICKINSFIELD AMITY HOUSE, and any donation will help make a huge impact in and our ability to make a difference in supporting our community in North East Edmonton.
Amity House is in dire need of a new "Fridge and a Freezer" as ours have broken down. These are critical to our ability to deliver many of our programs and to provide food to many of those who visit our center. Especially with the Christmas Season here and so many plans in place already. It is not a huge goal to raise the $2500 we need and we know with your help we can reach it. Any additional funds over and above our target will go to program delivery where our team specializes in making a little go a long way.
For those of you who do not know us, Dickinsfield Amity House is a (little known of) family resource center providing support services to our community since 1972. We offer a wide range of programs and services to individuals as well as families. Our programs are designed to fill gaps in community services, which help to build a sense of community and reduce social isolation.
Amity House runs strictly on donations and grants. Several of which are currently at risk due to the current economic state of our province and pending government cuts. These cuts could be devastating to our programming and our ability to support the families, children and individuals in our community that need us so much.
Here are some of the programs that we share with all who need them:
Collective Kitchens; Community Lunch; Drop In Cooking Club; Early Childhood Services; ELL Class; Family Support; Garden Club; Job Search Assistance; Outreach; Support Groups; Swap Shop; Teaching Tots; WeCan Food Co-op; and We also offer a week day Drop In Center that is open to the public with the newspaper to read, free coffee, tea and treats!
We thank you in advance for your contribution, or even for sharing this with others which can also make a huge difference.
The Amity House Team!
